Terms of Use

By using Give Me Your Money (the “Site”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. They're short on purpose.
1. What this is
Give Me Your Money is an experiment. You choose an amount, you let it go, and you get an experience: a result screen, an image you can share, and a place for your country in the ranking. That's all you get. The Site does not sell goods or services, and nothing is delivered to you.
2. Not a charity
This is not a charity, a fundraiser or a donation to a cause. Payments are not tax-deductible and no tax receipt is issued. The money goes to the operator of the Site.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal, in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer may charge currency-conversion or other fees, which we don't control. By paying, you confirm that you are allowed to use that payment method. We never see or store your card details.
4. No refunds
Freedom is earned, and once you've earned it, you don't lose it. All payments are final and non-refundable, so please only let go of what you're happy to let go of.
The only exceptions are (a) a payment made by mistake on our side, such as being charged twice for the same payment, or a payment you did not authorize, in which case please contact us as soon as you notice at contact@givemeyourmoney.fun, and (b) rights you have under the law of your country that cannot be waived.
5. Who can use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
6. Ranking and results
The ranking is for fun. Each country's total is the sum of the confirmed payments attributed to it. A payment is attributed to a country based on the payment method or, if that isn't available, your connection, and this can be wrong (for example, with a foreign card or a VPN). We may correct the ranking and remove payments we believe are fraudulent or abusive.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use payment methods that aren't yours, try to cheat or manipulate the ranking, attack or overload the Site, or use bots or scripts to pay or to access it. We may block access if you do.
8. Sharing
You're welcome to share your result screen; that's the point. The Site, its design and its images belong to the operator or its licensors, so please don't copy them for other purposes.
9. No warranties, limited liability
The Site is provided “as is”. We don't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we don't promise you'll be happier. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the transaction in question.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do, and using the Site afterwards means you accept the new version.
